Dr. Melven graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, India in 1998. Since 2010, he has been a member of the Royal College of Physician (Ireland).
In 2017, he pursued his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the Ministry of Health in Malaysia. Before joining Avisena Specialist Hospital in 2019, he gained extensive experience as a Consultant Physician, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, managing a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
